JUBILEE STREET PARTY - SATURDAY 4TH JUNE 2022
Many thanks to everyone who helped to make yesterday's street party a huge success, especially to Hayley for coming up with the idea and driving through most of the organising, ably helped by Nigel, Andie & the rest of her team. Many others, including the ERRA committee, played their part in preparations too - thank you to everyone involved!
Everyone had an enjoyable time and loved meeting up with friends and neighbours, eating, drinking and the tombola was gone in a flash. I would also like to thank the residents of Ipswich Road who allowed the road to be shut off for the day.
Huge appreciation also to UR church, minister John and CNS school for allowing us to borrow the tables & chairs and also to all the volunteers who helped set up and remove all the items from the road. I counted 250 people attending at one time, but many more were there for brief time during the afternoon. Jane Simpson - ERRA Chair
