Another visit from Santa!
Following on from our Christmas lights competition we had a surprise visit on Christmas morning when Santa, his number one Elf and helpers came back to our estate and walked along the roads giving festive cheer to all the residents they met. This brought fun, many smiles, waves and clapping from everyone along the way. Especially nice for those who were unable to get out, and thrilling for our younger residents who got very excited at the sight of Father Christmas. |
On a cold and wet December evening, Santa, Rudolph and one of his little elves took to the streets of Eaton Rise to admire the wonderful Christmas lights around the estate, Judging the winner was hard, and no amount of sherry for Santa, carrots for Rudolph, or chocolates for his elf , could influence their decision. There were so many lovely displays to choose from, but in the end, the display at No 49 Welsford Road was judged to be the best. A bottle of Santa's favourite tipple was (socially distanced) handed over to the lucky winner , and Santa, his elf and Rudolph set off to wrap up more presents for children this Christmas!! Ho!, Ho!, Ho!
